It all started in October 2019, at an event Nicky didn’t even want to be at (thank you to her sister for dragging her there anyway). Little did we know, fate had a plan. By the following weekend, we were off to Halloween Horror Nights, celebrating our mutual obsession with our favorite holiday, Halloween. From that moment, it was clear that we were practically inseparable.

Since then, we’ve shared good times, navigated challenges, and always been each other’s rock.

July 2022 brought a big milestone, we moved into our beautiful home and soon after, Kovu joined the party, officially proving our hearts were ready for more love.

Then came January 1, 2025, Fern popped the question at The French Cloister in the Bahamas while we were on a cruise, surrounded by loved ones who made sure Nicky knew there was no turning back now.

May 2025 added another chapter to our family story, we got Roach, making our little family even more complete.

And now? The next chapter begins on October 10, 2026, when we’ll make the most sacred promise to each other and officially unite as partners for life. Spoiler alert: our story is far from over so get ready, because the best is still yet to come.
